A FAST-PACED and entertaining encounter at Station Park ultimately ended goalless as Nairn County and Wick Academy shared the points, writes Graeme Macleod.

A QUICK-FIRE double on the hour-mark from captain Michael Morrison helped Nairn County warm up for Saturday's big Scottish Cup tie at Arbroath by comfortably seeing off Strathspey Thistle, writes Graeme Macleod.

Baton Relay and Kayak World Record

During early September our stalwart Supporters carried a specially made baton, to celebrate the club's centenary and to raise funds for Ground Improvements, over the West Highland Way and to successfully completed the journey in Ft. William.

The baton was duly handed over to the Nairn Kayak Club who then paddled it all the way, through the Caledonian Canal and the Moray Firth to Nairn.

THREE first half goals eased Nairn County to a second win in a week as they added to Wednesday night's success over Rothes by recording a victory at Fort William with the combined score of the two matches adding up to 10-2 in County's favour.
