A CRAZY game at Dudgeon Park saw the under-17s make it three wins in a row as they took all three points after an incredible 11-7 scoreline.

Archie Kennedy started it all off with an early opener before Brora struck back right away but Nairn posted the perfect response by going 2-1 up through Ryan Moodie with just four minutes on the clock.

Brora again equalised but Kieran Thompson put Nairn back in front before a Cattachs double saw them lead the game for the first time as they went 4-3 in front.

Kennedy grabbed his second of the equalise before Moodie also doubled his tally to put County back in front with Kennedy then wrapping up his hat-trick before the interval to put daylight between the sides.

Nairn began the stretch away after the break with Thompson adding his second of the day before Callum Guthrie got in on the act.

Moodie then became the second Nairn player of the day to complete his hat-trick before Scott Murray’s back-heeled finish had County in control at 10-4 in front.

Brora went on to pull three goals back though before Ethan Hampson rounded off the flurry of finishes has he helped himself to Nairn’s 11th of the afternoon.

It was a different story at Station Park the next day with just the one goal needed to settle the under-20s North of Scotland League match with Lossiemouth. Ian Payne’s rasping effort secured the three points as the hosts won 1-0.

The under-13s were in friendly action away at Keith and went down by two goals to one with Shaun Clare scoring for the visitors. The under-15s had no match.

The under-17s have no game this weekend as scheduled opponents Clachnacuddin are in Scottish Youth Cup action while the under-15s visit Clachnacuddin A. The under-13s welcome Caithness to the Academy Playing Fields.

⚽️⚽️ Winter Training ⚽️⚽️

Starting next Wednesday (19th September ) our weekly training will move to the Astro pitch at Nairn Academy, this will provide us with a suitable surface and floodlights.
Time will remain the same 18:30 to 20:00.

Please note :-
There will be no changing facilities provided therefore players should turn up in their training gear ready to start.
*** toilet facilities are available inside the main School complex ***

Footwear suitable for AstroTurf must be worn.

Please ensure that players are dressed in clothing suitable for the weather conditions, in colder weather layers are ideal so they can adjust how much they are wearing.....please also make sure that each player looks after their own stuff, preferably in a waterproof bag at the side of the pitch....the coaches don’t really want to be left with a pile of clothes at the end with no idea who they belong to!

In cases of severe weather the coaches and or the Academy staff will make the decision whether to run the training session....we will advise everyone as soon as we can.

⚽️⚽️ Training tonight (Wednesday 5th December) is cancelled due to the Astro at the Academy being frozen and unplayable ⚽️⚽️
